Board Certified Teachers

Excellence in Teaching. Excellence in Learning.

At Nadaburg Unified School District, we believe exceptional teachers create exceptional opportunities for students. That's why we proudly support educators in earning National Board Certification, the highest professional credential available for K–12 teachers in the United States.

National Board Certification reflects a teacher's commitment to continuous growth, instructional excellence, and student success. Teachers who earn this distinction have demonstrated advanced knowledge, reflective practice, and a deep understanding of how to help every student achieve at high levels.

Our Commitment to Professional Excellence

Nadaburg is committed to investing in the growth of our educators. We encourage and support teachers who choose to pursue National Board Certification because we know that great teachers never stop learning.

The certification process is rigorous and typically takes one to three years to complete while educators continue teaching full-time. Throughout the process, teachers analyze their instructional practices, reflect on student learning, and demonstrate their ability to deliver engaging, meaningful instruction that meets the diverse needs of all learners.

This commitment to continuous improvement directly benefits our students every day in the classroom.

What Is National Board Certification?

The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) established National Board Certification in 1987 as a voluntary, advanced certification program created by teachers for teachers.
